We’re pleased to announce a brand new partnership between Pyramind and Grammy U! Created by the Recording Academy®, the organization that produces the Grammy Awards®. GRAMMY U provides mentorship and industry access to students pursuing careers in the music industry to ensure that music’s next generation flourishes.
The Recording Academy was created to recognize and celebrate the artistic achievement of not only talented musicians and recording artists but also important, behind-the-scenes contributors such as producers and engineers. The Academy’s mission statement is simple, but represents the heart and soul of the organization’s efforts: to positively impact the lives of musicians, industry members and our society at large. In addition to the Grammy’s, The Recording Academy has several divisions dedicated to improving the lives of music makers and industry professionals including Grammy U.
Pyramind, in association with the San Francisco Chapter of The Recording Academy, have come together to ensure that any student enrolling in Pyramind’s Complete Producer program includes GRAMMY U membership which is active for the duration of a student’s program plus two additional years after completion.

GRAMMY U is a professional development program for students seeking a career in the music industry. By becoming a member of Grammy U, students have the opportunity to have exclusive access to Recording Academy Mentorship Programs, Master Classes, SoundChecks and Internship opportunities not found elsewhere. These programs touch on all facets of the industry, including technology, business, and the creative process. Additional opportunities throughout the year can include contests, performance showcases, behind-the-scenes festival tours, Up Close & Personal conversations with artists, and networking mixers.
This partnership has been created to provide Pyramind’s San Francisco campus students with exclusive opportunities to gain valuable exposure and networking opportunities in association with the San Francisco Chapter of The Recording Academy.
