Paul Herrera | Electronic Music Producer Program | Alumni Spotlight
“Create Music With Emotion.”
Pyramind Student, Paul Herrera, shares his experience in the Electronic Music Producer Program and discusses his process in reaching his musical goals.
Paul Herrera has been involved in music for the majority of his life. Grandson of Bay Area Hall of Famer “Keystone” Freddie Herrera, Paul always had a burning desire to follow in his family’s footsteps . After years of playing guitar, Paul decided to jump into music production. Once knee deep in the wormhole of music production and sound design he ventured off to San Francisco to further his knowledge by studying at Pyramind and developing professional quality tracks . While in San Francisco he started working with Pyramind Studios, Diamond Sonic Productions, and Shoreline Amphitheater. Leveraging his training at Pyramind, Paul spent many hours in the studios there developing his mixing and mastering skills. This has allowed him to be as independent in his productions as possible as well as being able to provide those services to others as a source of additional income.
