iZotope Nectar | How to Create Vocal Harmonies | Ryan Rey

Pyramind music theory and piano instructor Ryan Rey shows you how to get more out of a vocal track using iZotope’s Nectar 2 plugin.

Learn how to add harmonies to a dry vocal track using the plugin’s Harmony module, to achieve a richer and fatter sound. Ryan walks you through the module’s parameter settings, so you can learn how to customize the effect as you see fit.

You will also learn how to adjust the pitch and delay settings to make the effect sound more natural by emulating human error. He also goes over different voice stacking techniques, to get more unique sounding harmonies.
Then to top it all off, Ryan shows you how to set up midi control for the effect in Logic so you can play in the harmonies on a keyboard!
